Lion, The King (85x60) / Mixed media, Digital, Spray and marker on canvas.
"The King" was
inspired by the group of lions, which were spotted sleeping on an empty road in
the Kruger National Park, South Africa, due to the absence of tourists who
turned away because of the quarantine, due to the corona. The pack was spotted
by park ranger Richard Sowry, and confirmed in an interview that "normally
they would be in the bushes because of the traffic, but they are very
intelligent and so they enjoyed the freedom of the park without us".
